Hi All,
Need some help here.
My overflow pipe at the back of the house is dripping water and the water pressure on my boiler is up at 3.5. When i drain the system back down to (what im told is correct) 1.5 the dripping stops, But once the central heating kicks in the water pressure gradually rises back to 3.5 and the overflow begins dripping again??
Any ideas on how to stop this? Do i drain with the central heating on?

Cheers
Andy

Undo the filling loop which connects to the boiler, you may find it's letting water into the system, or you may have a split in the cylinder coil dependant upon what type of system you have.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply, But bearing in mind im a novice... Whats the filling loop and where would i find it?

Cheers

Problem is connected to the expansion vessel read your manual about testing and re-charging the vessel.

Could be a split bladder and require a new vessel.

boiler make and model is.
