I am running a SWA cable to a summer house.I will be powering a fridge, lights and power sockets. The distance is approx 75metres. Am i right in thinking I will need 4mm cable or will 2.5 suffice?
thanks

Your pushing the volt drop limit on 4mm for a 10 amp load of 75 meters. You would probably exceed it a higher load. Best to use 6mm or 10mm but can't really say for sure as I don't know your intended loading.

I take it you know all about part p/testing/certifcation/earthing/cable routing/terminating swa and nose picking?

nose picking

Tut, tut, coloumb.....You've got to give folks accurate information...

Everyone knows that nose picking requires Corgi membership, not Part P...
