Central Heating Not Working & Noisy

I've been fitting a sink etc in the en-suite and have had the water off for most of the day & had run off the hot water. Ok no problems there.

However, now that the water is back on my central heating no longer works - when it's schedule to come on it makes almighty bangs as if the pipes are going to explode - so I have to turn it off straight away. The make of the pump is Goldstar. Radiators remain cold and I've tried to bleed them but they're fine.

Any suggestions? What other info do you need to help me? Thanks.

what type of system do u have. i.e vented or unvented
