Am a diy er. have a 10yr quattro combi, heating side is fine, but lately, to get dhw, have to almost turn tap on full before diverter valve moves up & burner starts, whereas weeks ago it would fire up with minimum turns of tap. Also, because its almost full flow, never really gets as hot as it used to. Think may be diaphragm AGAIN ,gone before twice but think it was slightly different symptoms.(incidently, have always kept boiler thermostats ch & dhw on max,as advised. Is this good advice.)

DIaphragm yes again (I put one in which lasted a week once!) and your secondary heat exchanger is probably a bit mucky. Not so easy to clean - could remove it and try kettle descaler on the primary side.
Check divertre really does diveret (with new diaphragm) or renew/overhaul it anyway. (As Al says)
