I want to fit noise/draught strip on internal doors, particularly utility room door, the more the noise from the washing machine is kept in the better. Internal doors don't usually have any such, the wooden door usually slams onto the wooden slamming strip, ughh. I tried fixing self adhesive EPDM P strip, fantastic result for a while, the glue lasted about a fortnight, I pinned it back on with panel pins, didn't stay neat for very long. There must be a better way, any suggestions please ? |

If the door is solid enough, let in a smoke seal strip round 3 edges? The sort they use on fire doors. That is guaranteed to stay put
