Saving blown render

N

Newboy

Dumb question but here goes -

External wall but under cover with sand/cement render over old (Victorian) brickwork.

The render has started to crack and is blown in several sections.

On the render is painted a mural which the client woulkd like to avoid destroying.

Does anybody now of any prodyuct that can be injected in between the render and wall to bond the two back together again - even if this only gains a few years before the inevitable has to be done?

Edit

and more to the point does anybody know how to move this post from this forum to building!!

No need - you're not really going to get a result other than by removing what's blown and rerendering - it'll crack and fall apart as you try to restore it

Of course, someone might know better ...

If the render is soft enough drill small holes and syringe in a PVA/water mix - never tried it but may be worth a go.
