Washing Machine Filling with Water

My washing machine ( Bosch WVF 2401 ) fills with water when m/c is switched off. How can I fix problem?

Quite likely it is coming from the sink waste pipe. How does the rubber drain hose from the machine run?

You could start by turning the isolating valve off that feeds the machine, until you actually need to use it.

Is it filling with clean or dirty water?. Is the power to the machine switched off when it fills?

It is filling with clean water and the electrics are turned off.

your inlet valve is letting water by, needs a new one

where is the inlet valve? How do I replace?

inlet valve is at back of m/c where the water inlet hose is connected to
