Hotpoint WD61 Tripping the electric

The revenge of the WD61 continues!! The machine has started tripping the electric wherever it is on the timer cycle. I have had a look at the top board and there doesnt seem to have any "carbon" burns on the reverse. Any ideas on quick checks to source the problem or is it due for the recycling centre?

Most likely is the element (wash side) Worth checking the dryer elements too.

Worn carbons can trip electrics. Could also be faulty motor, pump or timer.
