If you go to options in Outlook, tab other, view where outlook 'stores' auto-archive items. Find that folder and I think most of it is related to the Outlook program you could copy. Like:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

edited to say - most of what I wrote was rubbish - I had the idea that you were going from Outlook Express to Outlook, not Outlook to Outlook. Sorry

I think this bit was right:

file - export - messages

You will want to export the address book too.

It is possible that you can't see the files because they are in a hidden system folder.

In Outlook you can use the Import/Export function to export a personal folder file. You can then copy it to the new location and import it.

A google on Exporting pst files will reveal lots of links.
