washing machine drain height
Reply with quote Thanks

I'm installing a washing machine in my basement and was curious as to what is the maximum height the drain line can go? If my closest area of drainage is too high, what are my other options?

a bucket.

dont forget, when your pump stops and water in the drain hose will remain in your drain hose. then gravity kicks in and its all back in your drum.

Air break

This won't happen if you have an airbreak fitted, make sure that the manufacturer recommends a high pumping height before you go to any great lenghts most washers will pump up to 1.5m icon_twisted.gif
