Hi

recently once in a while there is a small puddle of water appearing under my samsung fridge freezer. Any idea on what could be causing this?

if the waters comming from the front inside the fridge
have a look at the tray under the cooling element it should be free of water and sludge
may need "rodding" with something thin and flexible [i use a length of 4core bt phone wire]needs to fit into the hole thats probably about 4mm round and be about 3 or 4 feet long and not tight
push untill the wire goes tight or untill your shure its exited the tube into the evaporation "tin "at the back

If the puddle is under the fridge could be something simple like the drip tray, (referred to above) has a hose running of it down onto a collector which usually sits on top of the compressor, this then uses the heat of the compressor to evaporate it, the hose may no longer be pointing at the tray. Also check to make sure the freezer is still frozen and you are not starting to thaw. Warm weather and all.
