Washing Machine

hi guys,

just wondering if there is anyone out there who could help me with me washing machine.

the issue is that when it comes to the part of the cycle to do the spin and dry, the dial on the washing machine just continously clicks around non stop. it basically isn't spinning or drying.

i wondered whether the dial clicking is a clue as to what is wrong with it.

would appreciate any help anyone could give.

Can you tell us the make and model as this will help a lot

main reason for not spinning is that the brushes have worn out in the motor and they need replacing

how old is the machine ?

thanks for the reply, its a ariston not too sure of the model! think it mite CDE12X not sure if that makes too much sense lol!

i'm useless at these things!

as the knob clicks round, count the flashes from the light between pauses. Post the result here.
