when installing low-voltage spotlights in my bathroom (3 lamps fed by 1 transformer) - there is 240v at the IN to the transformer - but nothing OUT - and hence the spotlights does not work. If i replace the transformer with a lightbulb it works jsut fine. The cabling is in the cealing as a loop-in circuit. Strangely - if I then connect the transfoer to one of the sockets downstairs by mounting a plu -it all works fine - can you please advise?
