Does anyone know a safe way of removing white correction fluid from a school blazer.

Tippex (Correction Fluid) Fabric

Scrape off as much of the white deposits as possible, as soon as possible. Clean off the remainder with a little white spirit.

Do a GOOOOGLE search, plenty of tips there
