Painting fireplace

I would like to repaint my interior fireplace. It has been painted before as white. It is brick. I would like to make it a multi-tone with 2 or 3 soft colors possibly beige, off white, tan, taupe of something of that nature. Kind of a blend of colors 2 or 3 instead of one solid color.

you can try 2 do a colour wash with water base paint as if u were doing the same 2 a wall
