Been working fine up until now, but now it's just stopped working. The unit has an on/off button and a boost button. The lights on both of these buttons work when you switch them on and off but no water comes out.

You can hear the pump or whatever it is whirring away when you switch it on or off and it appears to be struggling but not a drop comes out.

Any ideas guys?

If you haven't changed anything, then no. How old is it ? is it still under guarantee (3 years) ? If so, call their helpline, they were very good and sorted me out quickly. Either way, the pump/controller box is a specialist piece of kit, so unless anything has changed (e.g. someone has turned the isolating valves shut), you probably need their engineers to take a look.

There are two filters in the assemblies for the pushfit connector, you turn the black knurled ring about half a turn to remove - once you've turned the isolators off, of course.

These are quite fine and we often find them partially blocked.

Would be worth checking before you arrange the callout.

Thanks guys.

We've just moved into a new property so I don't even know where the controller box is but there's a noise coming from the loft so I'm guessing that it's up there somewhere.

Yes, loft fitting is the norm for this, but, you still don't say if anything has changed ?If not, the first thing the help line will ask you to check id that the 'plastic' hose line inside the metal hose to the shower head hasn't kinked or buggled. So you may want to check this first, remove the shower head, lower the hose and turn the shower stat to hot (this heats up the hose and will 'melt' out any kinks).

You have to answer our questions if you hope to get any help from us......

Has it ever worked since you have been there ?

Moved in a few weeks ago and it has been working perfectly. Nothing has changed. I have removed the flexible hose completely to see if there was a blockage but still no water comes out.

Blimey, it's working again now!!

What I had done was moved the shower head up the pole more so that the shower came from higher up. I moved it back down then wriggled it around and now it works! Maybe there was some sort of air lock or something?
