taken up carpet found parquet 5 finger square on hall lounge and dining room floors. Some pieces damaged by carpet gripper. Quoted £2.50 per sq ft to sand and seal.Is this a reasonable quote? What sander do I use, what do I seal it with, how do I repair/ replace broken pieces. How would I care & clean it? Any advice please!!!! Or do I carpet over it. |

Quote sounds very reasonable (£ 27.75 per sq m). With that price I wouldn't bother to go through the hassle yourself. Proper sanding is a professional job, any sanding mistakes will come through once you apply the finish. __________________ You buy quality, we'll advise. You buy rubbish, we won't!
