Hi

I am looking for some easy to follow instructions on replacing the stabiliser valve assembly. I have the new part but apart from isolating the shower from the power supply and turning off the water supply to the unit via the in-line screw valve. Is there anything else? I assume there will be water retained in the shower unit? If so, how do I drain it before disassembly?

My local plumbers don't seem too interested in this small job, only in replacing the whole unit with a new one!

All advice welcome.

thanks.

It appears that you have hit a dead end, not only with your local plumber but also from the nationwide plumbers that visit this site.

Due to the cost of these showers they dont often get mended. You could try looking on the Triton website for some technical info.

I have replaced many of these but NEVER fixed one or ever tinkered with it, just chucked em in the bin....!

Good Luck

:D  :D  :D
