Mixer shower - very low pressure

I've moved into a house with a mixer shower already installed but the water pressure's very low. Any thoughts on how to easily (and ideally cheaply) increase the pressure? i thought of a power shower but there's no electricity supply at present so wanted to avoid if poss.
