Washing Machine Hose connector - not a problem with Washing

Firstly, I hope this is the right place, I know the sticky says no posts about washing machines but this is about the plumbing going to the machine so it should be OK, anyway,

The hose from the mains to my washing machine blew off last night soaking the kitchen floor. The plastic on the screw bit of the hose cracked and thats why it came off, Now is there anyway to join the hose to the mains or do I need a new hose altogther, the problem is that it's an intergrated dishwasher and there is quiet a bit of work to replace the hose at the washing machine end, any help would be appreciated.

Your posting doesn't make any sense - do you have a washing machine or a dishwasher?

Most washing machines use standard hoses - in which case buy a new hose.

Dishwashers often have a small bore cold fill hose, sometimes you need to pull apart the machine to replace it.

These integrated units are a pain. We usually put the washing machine tap underneath thge unit where there is space or if possible inside proximal sink unit, running the hose underneath, also the waste hose underneath and up the back of the sink unit. It would make our lives a lot easier if you buyers would just have stand alone appliances. But the most high god of homemakeover is to be worshiped these days.

No you can't bodge it, renew the hose, whatever that entails, I wouldn't dream of doing anything less.
