After many years of bungalow living, necessity is forcing me into a house. Being enthusiastic about gutter clearance I'd appreciate comments about your favoured system to avoid clogging, thus overcoming the need to clamber up on high to keep things draining smoothly.javascript:emoticon(' ')

there is no easy way of cleaning out gutters.
the cheapest way is often the most dangerous.
if you can get someone to foot the ladder even better.
if possible, do it after a dry spell.
have a small hand brush in one back pocket a gauging trowel in the other and a bucket for the garbage.
good luck.
if the swan necks are blocked, a few light taps with the brush usually frees any crud. |
