audio cassete to disc ?

help needed please, not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to comp,s
the system is windows xp home edition, e machines.
problem/ i want to put my old cassete,s onto disc so i can play them in the car , i have put a 3.5mm stereo jack lead from c,player into .line in on the comp and get the sound ok ./ also i can control the volume etc via the comp volume contriol.
then thats it , i dont know where it goes to, ? so i can download it ?

google for it, there is loads, depending on what you actualy want to do

I would download Audacity (it's free). You can record from line in and save to a file.
