garden security
I am having problems with yobs climbing over my garden fence. I have a garage at the bottom of my garden and yobs are always trying to break in to it by climbing over the fence at the bottom , there is an alleyway behind the fence but visibility is restricted especially at this time of year by foliage. I don't want to run power and put up lighting only as a last resort anyone got any suggestions?

trellis and thorny roses
if they climb and break the trellis it makes to much noise and will be very wobbily
you may have to replace a few panels initialy they will eventualy find an easier target

I understand you are not allowed to put up things like carpet gripper as they are not visible and you are trying the deliberately injure the toe-rag who is climbing in (I believe it is called the "Man-Trap" Act")
I have visible barbed wire along the tops of my fence posts above the fencing on one side of my garden; not sure if I ought to have a warning sign up there as well I have had people climbing over walls and fences before.
I also have a nice prickly holly which I believe does not need any sign as it is not a security device but an ornamental garden plant.
Round here the Navy have barbed and razor wire all over the place.
I like the idea of non-drying burglar paint which will leave great smears over their Burberry hoodies
