Inhibitor required for Alpha CD32C boiler

Hi
Have just had a new central heating system installed in my house - the boiler is an Alpha CD32C. Do I need to have an 'inhibitor' included also?
I don't know what an 'inhibitor' is - liquid or an object. What is it?

If one is required, what will be the implications of continuing without?
Any assistance will be much appreciated
