I have an alcohol stain on a dining room teak table - it has left a white mark - have tried rubbing with teak oil but it has not gone - can you give me any possible solutions?

Try steelwool 0000 and apply teak oil afterwards

Mostly it's the water in the alcohol 'cocktail' that makes the white mark, the alcohol has long evaporated. But you're right when using alcohol for cleaning purposes.
