Hi Guys,

I am replacing my bathroom radiator with a chrome towel radiator i the near future. The existing rad has the piping coming dowm the corner or the wall and along the skirting (old concrete floor).

I want to cut the existing pipework as it enters the room and channel it into the wall and then into new chrome rad. I am a competent DIY'er but not done anything like this before so I need some advice.

1. Will the copper pipework in the wall need anything to prevent corosion from the plaster I will covering it with?

2. I want to use chrome plated copper pipework on the rad, will I have any issues connecting it to the copper pipe buried in the wall, and which would be the best way to connect the two? (the join will be in the wall covered by plaster)

3. I want to fit a chrome TRV and Lockshield drain on the rad. What type/manufacturer of TRV do you professionals recommend?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
