I want to wire a new light into an existing loop-in rose, but to my horror found that the wires in the rose were blu-tacked into place, and now are all loose! I thought I rewired correctly, but there are two lights running from the two switches, of which only one is now controlled by the switches, and the other stays on permanently. There are two black wires, three thin red wires and two thick red wires to connect into the rose.
Cheers.

1) Look at the diagrams of rose wiring in the For Reference section.

2) Use your multimeter to identify the various conductors you have.

3) Place the conductors in the correct terminals.

Cheers,
I can't find the For Reference section and diagram- sorry. I'm assuming its on this site somewhere?
