Hi Everyone, i'm new - nice to meet you all.

I have recently installed a new dishwasher, The waste pipe was too short so I bought extra and attached it with a rubber bung that was already on the waste pipe attached to the dishwasher. The seal wasn't great and it has inevitably leaked....I have also tried to tape it but it still leaks.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can get a decent seal between these 2 waste pipes, they are slightly different diameters but it's a millimeter if that.....

Thanks for your help.

I`m sure I`ve seen connectors for washing/dishwasher hoses in the big diy sheds

Nige, many thanks for the reply. Just to let you know I went to B&Q and bought some rubber bungs that attached to each waste pip and a thingg called a 'Waste Union'...it did the trick and all is working well - no leaks!!!

Thanks
