Hi,i want to change a radiator from a single to a double panel as my living room tends to be a bit chilly.problem is the pipes to the radiator valves come through the wall.so what i wanted to know is do plumbers,as a rule, leave enough pipe inside the wall to pull a bit through because the new valves will be about 25mm further away from the wall,or should i just leave well alone and put a jumper on instead. |

The only way to find out is to disconnect the valves from the rad (watch out for loads of dirty water) and try pulling them forward. If it's a partition (plasterboard) wall then there's a good chance that they will be loose. __________________ Let's face FAQs. |
