You can give it a good clean with a "garden furniture" cleaner or a Kitchen Spray with Bleach. You might need to give it a bit of a scrub or use a green pan scourer on it.
You can then give it a coat of non-drip gloss in a colour to suit your house (no undercoat or primer required).
It will then look fine for years.
