system capacity in litres ?

Thanks for that link Gasguru. I'd never heard of this system before. How does it work in practice? High failure rate of the expansion vessels?

They loose there pre-charge quicker.

But then again I find all expansion vessels are very poor these days, even newish Vaillants loose most of there pressure within a few years and it doesn't help when some manufacturerers only stick in 6 litre vessels in their boilers.
 
Glowworm Compacts, Saunier Duval SD30's require copious wall bashing with the bolster to give enough clearance for the gauge and pump.

Ravenheat 820's require ET like fingers

Likewise Vaillant Turbomax. How do they get away with such shoddy design?
 
IMO all expansion vessels on system ready and combi boilers are 9 times out of ten too small

and they get away with it chris cos who takes them to task, they dont give a monkeys for the customer and the installer dont get much better service
