Oventrop Blending Valve "Rg5" v "Rg"

Hi,

Following on from this topic HERE

I have purchased a new Thermostic Blending Valve.

They appear identical, and are produced by the same company, however the existing one is embossed with "Rg5" where as the new one i have purchsed is embossed with "Rg"

I haven't been able to locate any information what the difference is, and dont want to install it until i understand what the difference is.


I'll call the company direct tomorrow if no one on here knows.

Is this for a BoilerMate II?

I don't think I'd worry about it since the valve is adjustable anyway.
