Shower not working, hot water taps no pressure in them?? SOS

Shower will not turn on. When I turn on the hot water, there does not seem to be any pressure. The taps dribble and when on full flow it gets a bit better but still only a slow flow of water. Any ideas?

Something is blocked by air, scale, or something worse.

Firstly, remove the spray head from the shower hose and see what comes out when you turn on the shower.

Have you had any plumbing work done recently?
