Our machine has recently started to take an age to dry clothes :( . Clothes come out hot after the drying cycle but are still wet. From looking at the comments posted I would guess it could be a problem with the condensor? Also, before this happened the machine refilled after a drying cycle, but as the door was open at the time dumped all the water over the floor. Latter problem hasn't occured since so is probably not related. Any help would be much appreciated.

condensors work by using cold water to cool them is your water floing on the dry cycle (you can check by watching the waste pipe you should get a constant small flow of cold water)

Breezer,

Thanks for the reply. I should have said in the original post that the machine does appear to still be pumping out water while on the drying cycle.

Condenser must be blocked with fluff if the water is running into the machine. You'll have to strip the condenser out, clean it and remove any blockages.

Cheers Sleepyhead,

Is cleaning the condensor within the realms of the DIYer? Willing to have a go but would need some pointers.
