New Machine

Having established the motor on my old machine is goosed, I need a new one.
Does anyone know of a good machine, £200 - £400 but with a depth (front to rear) of around 550mm? Most of the 'good' machines I've been looking at have depths of 580-600 and this would stick out of the space the old one has come out of.

I had a look at the July 2006 Washing Machine survey. None of their best buys are that shallow. I looked at some of the others, including Whirlpool who used to make shallow ones, found none.
