calling sleepyhead - whirlpool dishwasher probelm

We have a Whirlpool ADP 970 dishwasher which worked like a dream until yesterday. Now it will not wash and there is a continuous flashing starting light. The instruction manual is lost. Any ideas. The power and water supply are intact.

Press and hold the start button till the light goes out. Select a program, press start. If the start light begins flashing count the flashes between the pauses. If it's constant that's error code f1 which is a faulty NTC.

thanks very much - holding the start button down seemed to reset the dishwasher and it started working again. I presume the kids were fiddling with the buttons to cause the problem in the first place. Really appreciated the advice Sleepyhead.
