Basin waste to horizontal wc waist pipe?

I'm in the middle of refitting our bathroom. The old basin waste went from the basin straight to the vertical soil stack.
I\\\'d like to hide the waste pipe and I'm wondering if can I connect it directly to the horizontal waste pipe that runs from
the WC to the vertical soil pipe.

If this is possible can anyone explain how to do it.

You can use a strap on boss. Ask your local Plum Merch for details.

You can, using perhaps a strap-on boss on the soil pipe. It would be best to go in on top, for obvious reasons, but if there isn't room then going down in at 45º would be OK.

Use a vented trap on the basin to stop a piston of material in the soil pipe sucking the basin trap water out.
