more a sludge problem there than an air one

did they "powerflush" the system??

DONT KNOW ABOUT POWER FLUSH. WAS NOT THERE AT TIME. WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT WITH A NEW SYSTEM EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE.

WELLL STOP SHOUTING FIRST

mebbe it would be worth asking them, as sludge usually manifests itself with cold spots on rads, and as air is lighter than H2O it usually causes the top of the rad to go cold

OK. I WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH INSTALLER. DO KNOW IF I CAN BLEED RAD`S ON COMBI OR WILL IT LET AIR INTO SYSTEM.

Take the caps lock off :( :( :( :(

Are the rads cold at the bottom all along its length or just in the center.

cold all along the bottoms and up about ten inch.

and no caps lock what we have to do to keep some folk happy!!!!

if you look at what he said originally they are all new radiators and pipework it is simply that the rads havent been balanced properly

As corgiman said, its shouting and consider rude.

Back to the problem.

Cold all along the bottom, does not suggest sludge, it does however suggest you are not giving it time to heat up.

Maybe the trv's are just shutting off - at the right temp.
