Garage Consumer Unit
Can anyone put my mind at rest, should a garage consumer unit be mounted on a wooden board with insulated stand offs or should it be mounted directly to the wall ?

Norweb always used to tell me that they fitted spacers on external walls in case of damp, but I see them everywhere. For one, I think it makes for a neater "rear-entry" ( ) install.
