hello, anyone help out there?
the element on my belling countrychef 924 failed and i'm in the process of ordering a replacement.

the place where i want to buy from has virtually the same element, apart from a couple of differences:

1. the failed element is 1800w, but the replacement would be 2200w - does this matter?

2. the failed element has an earth connection between the live and neutral (? it's black) connections, but the replacement doesn't - what do i do with the earth connection?

if these are issues then i won't buy from here.

i'm no electrician, so keep the answer to 2. simple as poss please :)
