poitive and negative pressure boilers

what is the difference between positive and negative pressure rs boilers. which is safer and how can you tell difference between the two

its all to do with positioning of the fan.
in thoery negative should be safer as it would suck from the room rather than disperse. not always the case

however case seal(s) and their condition should be highest priority along with gas tightness.

positive is generally more effecient due to gas/air mix ratio being alot more spot on than the naturally aspirated
 
positive pressure pushes against the case, negative pressure sucks.

yeah negative pressure sucks out the case..fan out.

positive blows in..fan in. and gases make their way out through the open hole that the fan aint in etc..
