Installing pipework

In my new extension whats the proceedure for installing the pipe work down the walls to where the rads are going before plastering? im using 10mm micro bore. what protection do i need to give the pipe work etc. thanks.

Plastic or copper pipe? The pipe should be able to move (expansion) without cracking the plaster, so it just needs a little room. If you're chasing it into the wall before plastering you could cover the chase with that white plastic stuff electricians use. I don't think plaster will cause any corrosion of copper, unless perhaps if it's damp.

Im leaning towards copper, but plastic looks like a nice option. Should i run the pipes down together in one "channel" or seperatly directly above the rad valves?
