I am fitting a 10.5kw shower and am using 10mm twin & earth.I am going to put in a 50A MCB and consumer unit already has a 30mA RCD.I will also fit a double pole neon switch outside the bathroom and just need to know if this has to be 50A as well or can I use a 45A? CAble run is only 12 metres max.

Best to match or exceed MCB rating.

And double-check the tightness of the terminals holding the wires - especially the Neutral - a few hours after you think you've tightened them, or the next day.
