Combi Boiler question

Am I right in assuming that you cant leave a combi boiler on supply hot water only, when the Rads are drained.

Thanks for the fast reply, just means I will now have to work a bit quicker, so she that must be obeyed can have a bath tonight.
 
You dont say what make and model of boiler you have!

The general answer is that YOU CAN if you know what to do !

The requirement is that the pressurised combi can be isolated with the usual heating system isolating valves and that they DO NOT LEAK !!!

As long as the pressure gauge on the boiler shows over 1.0 Bar then it will/should work on DHW !

Some boilers can work with no rads connected.

Vaillant ecoMAX and ecoTEC, for example.
