Have a fully pumped system with 2 2Port Motorised valves.

has been working fine since I moved into house six years ago.

Over the Summer could only get hot water if heating was on as well with room stat turned up high.

Fuse blew in system electrical fused spur outlet last week.
I changed fuse and no problem.

At the weekend I changed the synchron motor on the hot water motorised valve, thinking that may be causing problems , ie with hot water not working independentally.

Now have got what seems to be a permanent live problem in that boiler fires up even when the programmer is switched completely to "off".

The pump seems to run all the time.

Does anybody think the programmer is broken (its a landis and Gyr old type RWB2). Thanks in advance.

more likely the microswitches are sticking on in one of the valves.

Cheers ollski
Have played with the black slider on side of valve and it seemed to be stuck.
Now working ok, although pump is continuing to run with everything off, which I know is normal.
How long should pump normally "overrun" for.
Thanks

The pump only over runs if its connected to a boiler with that feature.

As you have not told us which boiler you have then even Kivindergas cannot give any reply based on any definite evidence!
