Previous owner has done a bodge job roof repair allowing rain water to run off side of roof and straight down wall causing damp inside the property. There is no channel to guide the water to the gutter at the end of the roof. I cannot currently afford to have the necessary work done to rectify this properly. How can I best create a channel or lip to prevent the water flowing onto the wall? Is there some kind of guttering or other device/materials that can be fixed flush to the wall to catch most of the water as a temporary fix until I can pay to have to fixed properly? |

Do you have a picture of the area? Its hard to help. Is there no space for guttering to be placed there? |
