toilet flushing

Hi

Just moved into a new house and found that the main toilet needs has a problem flushing you need to press the handle three or four times to get enough pressure to flush it. Is this something I could sort or is a new toilet the only answer?

MOst likely its's the washer on the siphon. Siphon usually has to come out (some split) so a new siphon is usually easier than finding a washer the right type.
Bit of a pain to do on an old one sometimes - things get leaky.
