Has anyone seen the dark brown/black plastic water pipe in what I think is 15mm and if so is it compatible with Hep pushfit fittings,I remember seeing it a few years ago in a bathroom but can't remember what I connected to it with now. Got to join to it in a loft but I want to be sure before cutting it.

is there any fittings visable, that will give you a clue
repaird a leak on similar colour pipe only trouble i had was finding inserts to fit
Ok I got 3 types of inserts so hopefully one of them will do the trick.

seem to recall it looked like hep..fittings similar anyway...hthIt was called acorn & was 15mm. u can demount the fittings & slide the collet off the pipe when really stuck, then put copper or other pushfit into the fittings. inserts were stainless but not sure what size, where i live there's an estate thats whole w/mains in polyorc glued platsic.3/8". thats really crap cos when glued you cant turn water back on for 12 hrs.
