I have an error message \\\"F8\\\" showing on the display. The unit will start and run for approx 10 mins, but then stops with the error showing, any ideas what is needed to repair the problem

F8 is a water level failure. The filters are blocked/dirty or there was a lot of foam. Other things to check are the water level sensor, carefully check it's not gunged up. You'll find it below the metal filter, black grid in the bowl. Take care if cleaning it as you can puncture the membrane easilty, rendering it useless.
Check the drain hose isn't too far into a stand pipe, or too low.
Press and hold the start button for several seconds to reset the machine and try again.
