Moving a bathroom towel rail

Hi,

I have removed and capped of a bathroom radiator and intend to fit a towel rail on the adjacent wall. As the pipework will be exposed for a short distance and needs a bend or two what is my best option?

Copper and paint it with gloss.
Copper and fit plastic chrome affect rad snaps?
Ideally I would fit chrome but I hear it won't bend and I will need ugly elbows etc.

Any suggestions welcome.

Why not copper, but leave it unpainted?

Er, it will bend, or you can fit chrome elbows that are no more ugly than the rad valves.
